Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 10 or school leaving certificate with a recommendation letter from the principal.
Licenses and Permits
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8/10/14).
- Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP).
Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and accountability.
- Participation in the Public Employment Youth Initiative (PEYI) is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Driving
- Transport learners, goods, and materials while adhering to safety and traffic regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
- Plan efficient routes and maintain trip logbooks.
Handyman Duties
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to ensure functionality.
- Maintain records of repairs and ensure safe facility operations.
