Job Title: Nursing Sister

Overview
The Lesotho Planned Parenthood Association (LPPA) is seeking a qualified and dedicated Nursing Sister to join its Service Delivery team. Reporting to the Programmes and Service Delivery Coordinator, the Nursing Sister will ensure the effective and efficient implementation of clinic activities while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Implement clinical and outreach activities in line with LPPA standards.
-Maintain accurate records of drugs, equipment, and contraceptives used in the clinic.
-Provide client counseling and dispense appropriate medications.
-Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual activity reports to the Programmes and Service Delivery Coordinator.
-Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor that align with the role.
Qualifications and Experience
–Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least one-year post-qualification experience as a Nursing Sister.
–Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least two years post-qualification experience as a Nursing Sister.
-Clinical knowledge and practical skills in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV/AIDS.
-Registered with the Lesotho Nursing Council.
-Experience with NGOs is an added advantage.

-High professional and nursing ethical standards.
-Thorough understanding of contraceptive management and counseling.
-Basic record-keeping skills.
-Ability to mobilize communities effectively.
-Sensitivity to socio-cultural values.
-Proficiency in computer usage.
