Job Overview:

The Letlhakeng District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified Botswana citizens for the position of Temporary Assistant Systems Analyst. This is an entry-level role focused on the development and management of systems in accordance with user requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with users to conduct investigative work on requirements, workflows, and processes, and produce documentation based on required standards.

-Design and develop systems that align with user specifications.

-Perform audits of information processing systems and applications to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.

-Monitor the performance of systems and applications to ensure sustainability.

-Maintain documentation in both hard copy and electronic formats for all systems and PC parameters.

-Provide updates to users on system statuses and address technical issues or errors.

-Deliver technical assistance to users and resolve system-related problems.

-Undertake any other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

-A degree in Information Technology or a related field.

-Entry-level experience (no prior experience required).

-Strong understanding of system analysis and development processes.
