Overview

The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified local candidates for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

-A Master’s Degree in Economics with coursework.

-Strong background in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Quantitative Methods/Techniques.

-Specialization in Environmental Economics, Energy Economics, or Health Economics.

-Publications in recognized or accredited journals and experience in tertiary-level teaching of the mentioned courses will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

-Deliver lectures at the undergraduate level.

-Supervise and monitor students’ research projects and dissertations.

Remuneration

Type of Contract

-Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for local candidates.

-Contract/gratuitable for non-local candidates.
