Overview:
Lewis Group Botswana is recruiting Trainee Branch Managers to join its Trainee Manager Development Programme. This national recruitment initiative is designed to develop capable leaders who will contribute to operational success, drive sales performance, manage stock and credit, and lead people effectively within the retail branch network.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch staff to deliver on business objectives.
-Drive branch sales targets and operational efficiencies to ensure profitability.
-Provide excellent customer service and manage customer relationships.
-Monitor and control financial targets while balancing business risk.
-Enhance customer service, sales performance, and manage credit and stock-related risks.
-Minimise stock losses through strict compliance with security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
-Ensure operational and legal compliance across all branch functions.
-Oversee training, coaching, and performance management of all branch employees.
Minimum Requirements:
-Valid driver’s licence
–BGCSE or equivalent secondary school qualification
-A business-related tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
-1β3 years of retail management experience
-Computer literacy
-Strong leadership and people management skills
-Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced retail environment
