Overview
We are seeking a dedicated General Assistant to join our team at TsAfrika Catering Solutions. As a General Assistant, you will support cooks and chefs in food production and preparation, serve food, and ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean.

Responsibilities
- Assist with food production and preparation.
- Serve food and beverages, including tea service.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Implement and enhance controls within the unit.
- Foster excellent customer relationships and service.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Matric certificate.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of the catering environment and health and safety policies.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexibility regarding working hours.
- Reliable, dedicated, and self-motivated.
- Well-presented and articulate.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in food handling and tea service.
- Proven knowledge of TsAfrika controls.
- Creative flair and ability to contribute ideas.
