QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year wireman experience
It is advantageous to have practical electrical/electronic understanding.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist technicians with alarm and security device installations.
- Help the technician by removing old equipment from the client’s premises.
- Help by installing new cables, applying adhesive, drilling holes, mounting detectors, panels, contacts, lights, and so on.
- Inform the technician of any deficiencies or restrictions in the equipment and tools.
- Inform the technician about the cabling needed for the installation.
- After an installation, clean the vehicles and the premises.
