Position: Administrative Assistants: Travel (Finance & SCM)

Annual Salary: R222,957

Key Requirements:

Educational Background: A Senior Certificate with Accounting or an equivalent qualification is required. A post-matric qualification in financial management or a finance-related course is advantageous.

Skills: Proficiency in computer literacy (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic bookkeeping. Familiarity with public administration, the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury regulations, and expenditure control is required.

Additional Skills: Knowledge of procurement processes, administrative procedures, and policy interpretation. Strong attention to detail, the ability to handle pressure, and solid advisory skills are crucial.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Coordinating travel arrangements for employees.

-Managing creditors’ reconciliations, processing claims, and following up on outstanding documentation.

-Preparing and managing payment requests.

-Assisting with vehicle and airfare bookings, and monitoring travel cost containment.

-Assisting with audit queries and supporting any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
