Job Advert Summary:
Our Bapotrans Depot in Rustenburg – Marikana is seeking a diligent and skilled Technical Clerk. This role primarily involves managing the computerized maintenance system, overseeing tyre and stores administration, and assisting in the preparation of monthly reports. The ideal candidate will perform their duties in line with the company’s code of conduct, policies, and procedures while being responsive to additional tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- Proficiency in computer operations, specifically MS Word and Excel
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in an administrative capacity, preferably within workshops or stores
- Knowledge of vehicle parts
- Willingness to assist in various tasks within the business unit
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance System: Oversee the efficient functioning and usage of the maintenance system.
- Control and Maintain Tyre and Stores Administration: Ensure proper organization and administration of both tyre and stores inventory.
- Assist in Preparation of Monthly Reports: Collaborate on compiling and generating accurate monthly reports.
- Contribute to Monthly Stock Take Process: Support the monthly stock take process to maintain accurate inventory records.
