About Us:
Motus Toyota Kempton Park is currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join us in the capacity of Apprentice Level 1. Working closely with our Service Manager, this role is tailored for those with a passion for vehicle repairs and a drive to excel as a skilled Motor Mechanic Technician. The successful candidate will be part of our comprehensive four-year Apprentice Training Programme.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Technicians with vehicle repairs
- Remove and replace vehicle parts/units
- Jack up vehicles and set up trestles
- Perform lubrication and oil changes (under supervision) as per manual specifications
- Replace wheels and air/oil filters
- Support various vehicle repair tasks
- Handle battery removal and replacement
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area and clean vehicle parts
- Attend prescribed technical/level courses
- Perform other reasonable duties as required
- Adhere to safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 with Pure Math and Physical Science
- Preference for candidates with a Motor Mechanic Trade qualification
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License is advantageous
- Must have a clear Criminal Record
Skills and Attributes:
- Technical skills will be advantageous
- Strong customer orientation and ability to collaborate effectively in a team
