Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to join our team at Menzies Aviation in South Africa. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely and efficient transportation of passengers to and from aircraft. The successful candidate will uphold all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while maintaining excellent communication with airline customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction. Additionally, this role involves overseeing and maintaining ramp procedures in line with Menzies Aviation operating standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and effective transportation of passengers to and from aircraft.
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintain ramp procedures in line with Menzies Aviation operating standards.
- Liaise with airline customers to ensure a proactive and high level of customer satisfaction.
- Report any defects to the workshop and complete daily tasks.
- Ensure the bus used is serviceable and clean before use.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge of ramp operations and equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of local and airport driving regulations.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sound customer relation skills.
- Valid code 10/C1 driver’s license and PDP.
- AVOP will be an advantage.
