Overview:
A reputable wholesale distribution company based in Silverton, Gauteng, is seeking a skilled and reliable Code 10 Truck Driver for a fixed-term contract of three months. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers.
Responsibilities:
-Safely operate a Code 10 UD truck to deliver goods to customer locations.
-Assist in the picking, loading, and unloading of stock.
-Maintain accurate logs of driving activities and deliveries.
-Keep the truck in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
-Collect payments from customers upon delivery when required.
Requirements:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar truck driving role, preferably in the food and beverage wholesale industry.
- License: Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with a valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit) for goods and passengers.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Completion of a Defensive Driving Course (preferred).
