VKB Milling manages maize mills in Mokopane, Louis Trichardt, and Mashishing, as well as a wheat mill and bakery in Frankfort. We are seeking a dedicated Code 14 Driver to join our team.
Job Description:
The Driver will be responsible for the timely delivery of products. This role requires maintaining high standards of service and ensuring that all deliveries are executed efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
-Deliver products punctually while ensuring high levels of customer service.
-Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the truck.
-Report all incidents and accidents to management promptly.
-Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation, ensuring all PODs are signed, stamped, and accurately recorded.
-Achieve fuel consumption targets as per company policy.
-Oversee stock control, ensuring accurate loading and offloading of goods.
-Monitor crate control with a focus on accuracy.
-Complete daily vehicle checklists and report any defects.
-Manage all related documentation, including PODs, fuel slips, toll slips, and trip sheets.
-Supervise the crew on the truck.
Requirements:
-Grade 12 or NQF4 with numerical ability and PC literacy.
-Valid Code 14 license with PDP.
-Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a sound understanding of sales.
-Ability to work in a pressurized environment, including weekends and public holidays as required.
-Clear criminal record.
