Overview
Warwick Wine Estate is seeking a skilled Tractor Driver to become an integral part of our Vineyard team. This role involves executing a variety of tasks related to vineyard production, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tractor operations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
Responsibilities
-Operate tractors for various tasks including hauling, ploughing, sowing, pre-pruning, spraying, and harvesting, as required.
-Conduct regular inspections of tractors, trailers, and other equipment in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety policies.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of all equipment.
- Adhere to all general Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional vineyard production tasks and general farm work as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating tractors.
- Experience in the wine or farming industry is advantageous.
- Licenses:
- A valid Code B driver’s license is beneficial but not required.
