Overview:
Rand Water invites applications for its Water and Wastewater Reticulation Learnership Programme, structured at NQF Level 2. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive training and practical experience to 15 individuals, fostering skills development within the water and wastewater management sector. The programme offers a dynamic learning environment under the guidance of industry experts, empowering participants with essential competencies for future career opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in structured learning activities to gain practical knowledge and skills relevant to water and wastewater reticulation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the application of theoretical concepts to practical scenarios.
- Collaborate effectively with peers and mentors to enhance learning outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in all training activities.
- Participate actively in assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Unemployed individuals without enrollment in any educational institution or learnership programme.
- No possession of post-matric qualifications; disclosure of such qualifications is mandatory.
- Matric (Grade 12) certification with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum Level 3 in both subjects).
- Submission of SAQA/NLRD verification report.
- South African citizenship with a valid SA ID.
- Age between 18 and 35 years in alignment with NSDSIII guidelines.
- Essential documents include certified copies of ID, Matric certificate, and proof of residence.
- Preference given to female applicants and individuals with disabilities to support Rand Water’s Employment Equity Objectives.
