1. Welder Apprenticeship (3 Positions)
Overview:
The Welder Apprenticeship provides training in metal fabrication, welding techniques, and blueprint interpretation. Apprentices will learn to weld components and structures used in shipbuilding.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding for marine components.
-Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
-Ensure proper welding techniques and quality control.
-Maintain safety standards in welding operations.
Requirements:
–Grade 12 qualification (with Mathematics & Physical Science preferred).
-Strong technical and manual dexterity skills.
-Basic knowledge of welding techniques.
