Overview

Capitec Bank is offering enthusiastic young South Africans the chance to build their future in the financial sector through the Bank Better Champion Learnership. This programme is designed to provide practical experience, training, and career readiness for individuals passionate about client service and banking operations.


Key Responsibilities

As a Bank Better Champion Learner, you will:

  • Welcome clients and manage branch flow through queue coordination.
  • Assist clients with ATMs and self-service banking channels.
  • Deliver professional client service and support basic transactions.
  • Gain valuable hands-on exposure to prepare for a career as a Service Consultant.

⚠️ Note: This is a client-facing role requiring you to be on your feet throughout the day.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
  • Basic numeracy skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
  • Completion of Harambee Problem Solving and Behavioural Assessments (available under Boost your CV).

Selection Process

  • Completion of up to four online assessments.
  • Possible video interview to assess skills, motivation, and interest.
  • Background checks for shortlisted candidates.
