Overview
Gold Star Goat Stud, a multi-disciplinary livestock farm specializing in goats and sheep, is looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join the team as a General Duty Assistant and Horticulturalist. The successful candidate will assist with livestock care and general horticultural activities on the farm.
Key Responsibilities
-Daily care and management of goats and sheep
-Feeding, watering and general animal husbandry
-Basic health monitoring and reporting
-Assistance with breeding, cleaning and general farm maintenance
-Support with pasture, lucerne and other horticultural activities
Requirements
-Experience in farming, horticulture or livestock management (preferred)
-Willingness to work outdoors and handle animals
-Reliable, responsible and physically fit
-Ability to follow instructions and work independently
