Overview

Pick n Pay is looking to appoint over 20 qualified and vigilant Security Officers to ensure the safety of our customers, employees, and assets. If you are committed to maintaining a secure retail environment and are passionate about protecting people and property, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

-Enforce company security policies and procedures

-Monitor store activity and identify potential security risks

-Safeguard company assets by conducting regular patrols and inspections

-Ensure employee and customer compliance with store entry/exit protocols

-Liaise with senior management, SAPS, and security service providers as needed

-Respond effectively to emergencies, alarms, or suspicious activity

-Maintain accurate security records and reports

-Assist with alarm callouts when required

-Remain alert and observant throughout your shift

-Provide courteous and professional security service to staff and customers

Minimum Requirements

-Matric (Grade 12)

-Recognised security qualification

-Registered with PSIRA or SOB (minimum Grade C)

-Reliable, disciplined, and committed to procedures

-Assertive and able to manage conflict calmly and professionally

-Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays

-Must be contactable at all times
