Overview
Pick n Pay is seeking over 20 hardworking and reliable Shelfpackers – Groceries to support our grocery department in stores across South Africa. You’ll play a key role in ensuring shelves are always fully stocked, well-organized, and aligned with our customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Refill and rotate grocery stock on shelves using FIFO (first in, first out) methods
-Ensure correct pricing and promotional signage is displayed
-Keep shelves, aisles, and stock areas neat and tidy
-Remove expired, damaged, or outdated products from displays
-Monitor and report stock levels and shortages to supervisors
-Maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards
-Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly service
-Prevent shrinkage, damages, and wastage through proper handling of goods
-Follow all store safety and stocking procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (Grade 12 advantageous)
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to lift and move stock safely
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
- A proactive and dependable work ethic
