Overview
The Ministry of Youth and Gender Affairs, in partnership with Statistics Botswana, invites applications from suitably qualified youth citizens aged 18โ35 years for the 2025 Agricultural Census Data Collection project. This critical census, conducted every ten years, aims to gather comprehensive data on crop and livestock production indicators to support agricultural sector planning.
The census will run from January to December 2025, and selected candidates will receive specialized training before deployment.
Qualifications
-Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in any field.
-Valid Identity Card (Omang).
–Supervisors: 60 Degree holders will be selected.
–Enumerators: 180 Diploma or Certificate holders will be trained for this role.
Training Details
- Location: Botswana Police College, Otse.
- Dates:
- Supervisors: 7 January to 9 February 2025.
- Enumerators: Report on 19 January 2025, 14:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data collection for the 2025 Agricultural Census.
Experience
- No prior experience required.
Benefits

- Monthly allowance after successful completion of training:
- Supervisors: P6,500
- Enumerators: P5,500
