Technical Services Manager
Job Summary:
Integrate and manage technical disciplines, including Mine Planning, Survey, Ventilation, and Geology, to support production. Develop long-term mine plans and ensure operational excellence and value maximization.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee the development of Life-of-Mine (LOM) plans and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
-Manage exploration, resource and reserve statements, and mine plan optimization.
-Lead the implementation of digitalization and automation initiatives in technical services.
-Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
-Build and lead a high-performing technical team.
-Drive technical assurance processes and best practices.
Requirements:
-Bachelorโs degree in mining, Geology, Rock Engineering, or equivalent; masterโs preferred.
-8+ yearsโ experience, 4 at a managerial level.
-Registration with Botswana Engineersโ Registration Board or equivalent.
