Overview
Dunns, a leading fashion retail brand, is seeking dedicated and customer-focused General Assistants across various store locations. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring stores are well-organised and visually appealing. General Assistants support store management with daily operations while delivering a great shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Protect company assets, including stock, cash, staff, and customers.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and store layouts effectively.
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
- Carry out proper administration for stock room, mark-downs, and lay-bys.
- Ensure merchandise replenishment and maintain high housekeeping standards.
Requirements and Skills
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- Prior sales experience (essential).
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and stressful situations.
- Honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
