Overview

Dunns, a leading fashion retail brand, is seeking dedicated and customer-focused General Assistants across various store locations. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring stores are well-organised and visually appealing. General Assistants support store management with daily operations while delivering a great shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Protect company assets, including stock, cash, staff, and customers.
• Implement company policies, procedures, and store layouts effectively.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Carry out proper administration for stock room, mark-downs, and lay-bys.
• Ensure merchandise replenishment and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Requirements and Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Prior sales experience (essential).
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and stressful situations.
• Honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
