Overview
SPV Mining is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Core Marker to assist in the accurate labeling and marking of core samples collected from drilling activities. This position requires precision, physical fitness, and the ability to follow procedures to ensure core data integrity in the field.
Key Responsibilities
-Accurately label and mark core samples with depth and relevant identifiers.
-Maintain organized and legible records of core sample data.
-Handle core boxes and materials carefully to prevent loss or damage.
-Assist in the transportation and storage of core samples.
-Follow instructions from drilling supervisors and geologists.
-Comply with site safety procedures at all times.
Requirements and Skills
-Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in a similar or field-based role.
-Ability to mark and label core samples clearly and accurately.
-Good physical fitness with strong attention to detail.
-Basic literacy and ability to read and follow written instructions.
-A Cambridge Certificate is an added advantage.
-Dependability and strong work ethic.
