Overview
Ackermans is looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals to join their team as Shop Assistants / Cashiers (P27). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment while providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth transactions, and maintaining store presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Assist customers in locating products and addressing queries.
• Resolve complaints promptly and professionally.

Cashier Duties

• Process cash and card payments, lay-bys, and refunds.
• Maintain accurate till balancing and handle transactions efficiently.

Merchandising

• Ensure correct product pricing and availability.
• Maintain attractive displays and store cleanliness.

Risk Management

• Tag products in line with company policy.
• Participate in stock counts and report any suspicious activity.

Entry Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills (English essential; other languages an advantage).
• High energy, self-motivated, and target-driven.
• Tenacity and commitment to meeting performance goals.
• Retail experience advantageous but not required.
