Overview
Tiger Brands is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administration Clerk to support logistics operations at the Bellville Regional Distribution Centre. The role is responsible for internal and external customer service delivery, administrative logistics functions, financial reconciliation, reporting, and ensuring adherence to company standards, SOPs and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure, communicate effectively and maintain high levels of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
โ Manage administrative logistics functions across multiple categories at the Distribution Centre.
โ Maintain and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
โ Prepare, capture and reconcile stock counts.
โ Run, review and analyse Oracle reports (order management, sales order status, routing).
โ Prepare financial month-end reports including value reports, in-transit and accuracy analysis.
โ Monitor and maintain pallet control, POD control, and expense tracking.
โ Manage purchase orders, internal requisitions and internal orders.
โ Ensure accurate document control aligned with SHE and FSSC requirements.
โ Track order input, delivery days and follow up on out-of-stocks and customer fills.
โ Maintain accurate record-keeping of monthly expenses (stock, transport, outsourced services, pallets).
โ Monitor daily stock cover and escalate discrepancies as required.
Minimum Requirements
โ Matric / Grade 12 with a Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
โ Minimum 3 years operational experience within FMCG logistics or supply chain.
โ Intermediate Excel skills (at minimum).
โ Knowledge of Oracle, MicroStrategy and logistics processes.
โ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
โ Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and maintain accuracy.
โ Understanding of SOPs, SHE, FSSC and documentation control.
