Overview:
FNB Botswana is seeking five customer-focused and dynamic Service Consultants to join its Student Banking division in Francistown on a six-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional service through various channels and ensuring high-quality support across all customer touchpoints while contributing to the bankโs cost-effective and growth-driven strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide excellent service across multiple platforms including face-to-face, telephone, and internal systems.
-Process customer requests and resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
-Proactively manage customer expectations by delivering solutions that align with service standards.
-Understand and anticipate customer needs to provide appropriate support.
-Stay informed about developments in the banking environment, particularly within Student and Mortgage Lending services.
-Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.
-Drive cost-efficiency and support revenue recovery efforts in line with the approved budget.
-Maintain expert product knowledge, including application procedures, pricing, and timelines.
-Administer and update systems accurately with customer-related information.
-Prioritize and manage incoming requests while ensuring customer satisfaction.
-Align tasks and activities with the bankโs strategic goals and key performance metrics.
-Adhere to audit, compliance, and legislative requirements in all operations.
-Ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs and standard operating procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
-Prior experience in a banking or customer service environment is advantageous.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Customer-oriented with a drive for delivering service excellence.
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
-Familiarity with banking products and procedures, especially within student banking.
-High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-Capable of maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance standards.
-Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
