Overview:

FNB Botswana is hiring a Service Consultant to support its Student Banking division in Pilane on a six-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering superior customer service, processing requests effectively, and contributing to cost management and revenue growth through efficient support and proactive engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

-Deliver excellent service across multiple customer contact points including face-to-face, telephone, and digital channels.

-Handle and resolve customer requests and queries efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

-Engage customers professionally in line with FNB’s service standards.

-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking services, particularly within the Mortgage Lending and Student Banking environments.

-Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the bankโ€™s strategy.

-Contribute to profitability by managing expenses within budget and identifying revenue recovery opportunities.

-Provide administrative support through accurate reporting, planning, and documentation.

-Prioritize and manage requests to meet client expectations and ensure timely responses.

-Support projects and initiatives by aligning activities with strategic objectives and performance goals.

-Ensure adherence to governance, legislative, and audit compliance standards.

-Verify and complete operational tasks as per service level agreements and documented procedures.


Requirements and Skills:

-Previous experience in customer service or financial services is an advantage.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Service-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.

-Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.

-Knowledge of banking operations, products, and compliance requirements.

-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

-Able to work effectively within a team and maintain professionalism.

-Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving banking environment.
