Overview:
Transnet is offering a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity for students and recent graduates who require practical workplace experience. This 18-month trainee programme is designed to provide hands-on exposure, mentorship, and industry experience to enhance employability within the Transport and Logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Task Execution
- Assist with departmental projects and operational tasks
- Support administrative duties, documentation, and reporting
Learning & Development
- Attend training sessions and workshops
- Shadow experienced professionals
- Participate in problem-solving activities
Communication & Collaboration
- Interact with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Provide updates on assigned tasks
- Act as a contact point for queries and assistance
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain professional and ethical standards
- Ensure confidentiality of information
Research & Analysis
- Conduct research and data analysis
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Assist with process improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric Certificate or equivalent
- N6 in Transport & Logistics or Business Management
- South African citizen
- Age between 18 โ 35
- No bursary obligation with another company
- Proof of certified Matric certificate, academic record, ID copy, and TVET experiential learning letter
