Purpose of the Job

To ensure continuous plant availability through effective maintenance and support of HVAC equipment and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards
Perform maintenance on HVAC and related equipment
Wash filters and HVAC units
Clean cooling towers
Sand and paint HVAC units and equipment
Clean storerooms, plant rooms and HVAC yards
Carry tools and equipment within allowable limits
Operate mobile WAP high-pressure machines on trailer

Minimum Requirements

Education

National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or N3
Ability to communicate and correspond in English
Valid driver’s license (Code EB required; EC1 advantageous)

Experience

Minimum 1 year relevant experience
Experience in an Electrical or HVAC environment
Experience using hand and power tools
