Purpose of the Job

To ensure continuous plant availability through effective maintenance and support of HVAC equipment and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards
  • Perform maintenance on HVAC and related equipment
  • Wash filters and HVAC units
  • Clean cooling towers
  • Sand and paint HVAC units and equipment
  • Clean storerooms, plant rooms and HVAC yards
  • Carry tools and equipment within allowable limits
  • Operate mobile WAP high-pressure machines on trailer

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or N3
  • Ability to communicate and correspond in English
  • Valid driverโ€™s license (Code EB required; EC1 advantageous)

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience
  • Experience in an Electrical or HVAC environment
  • Experience using hand and power tools
