Overview

Okavango District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified residents of Xakao Village for the position of Cleaner II. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in Council schools, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for learners and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean administration offices, classrooms, furniture, toilets, and other facilities daily.
  • Wash and iron school linen.
  • Ensure safe custody and availability of cleaning materials and report shortages.
  • Prepare and organize venues for meetings.
  • Prepare and serve tea during meetings when required.
  • Secure windows, doors, and utilities before leaving.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements & Skills

  • Age: 18 โ€“ 45 years
  • Qualification: PSLE or Junior Certificate
  • Experience: Not required
