Overview
The Department of Employment and Labour is recruiting 24 Client Service Officers to join the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) unit across various labour centres in South Africa. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for public service to play a key role in supporting unemployed citizens. As a Client Service Officer, you will be responsible for front-line service delivery including UIF claims processing, customer care, and administrative support. The role offers a chance to gain practical experience in a government department that upholds accountability, service excellence, and the Batho Pele principles.

Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Experience: No experience required
Knowledge of the following is advantageous:
- Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations
- Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act
- Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
- Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
- Treasury Regulations
- Batho Pele Principles
- Department of Labour and UIF policies and procedures
- Customer Care Principles

Key Duties
- Provide screening services
