Job Title: Shop Assistant/Cashier P27
Location: Jhb Park Central, Gauteng

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Shop Assistant/Cashier for our P27 role in Jhb Park Central. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering an outstanding shopping experience by handling stock replenishment, merchandising, housekeeping, and processing transactions efficiently. Responsibilities

–Customer Service: Provide excellent service to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. Assist customers in locating products and address any queries or complaints.

–Cashier Duties: Process cash, card payments, lay-bys, and customer refunds. Maintain till balancing and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

–Merchandising: Ensure that all products are correctly priced, displayed, and available on the sales floor. Maintain cleanliness and stay informed about ongoing promotions.

–Risk Management: Tag products in line with company policies, participate in stock takes, and report any suspicious activities, including potential shoplifting or fraud, to management.

–Company Values: Uphold company values and adhere to all policies and procedures in every aspect of your role.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent ability to engage and assist customers.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Energetic & Tenacious: High energy and motivation with a results-driven mindset.
  • Retail Experience: Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
