Overview
The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (DPWI) invites qualified candidates to apply for 27 Administrative Clerk positions under the Immovable Asset Register (Verification) Project. Successful candidates will assist in asset verification, data management, and GIS-related duties to ensure accurate recording of the Departmentโs immovable assets across regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
-Conduct physical verification of National Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (NDPWI) assets.
-Support the Assistant Director and Deputy Director in property verification and data validation.
-Perform desktop planning, confirm land ownership and assist with GIS spatial data verification.
-Check and verify property data on relevant databases and ERP systems.
-Approve transactions and maintain asset performance reports via mobile applications.
-Ensure accurate and complete data in the Immovable Asset Register (IAR).
-Conduct deeds searches, verify ownership, and assist with condition assessments.
-Maintain compliance with verification standards and audit requirements.
Minimum Requirements
–Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
–Driverโs Licence (Code B) is essential.
-Strong report writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
-Basic numeracy and computer literacy.
-Administrative and organizational skills.
