Overview
Bango Trading (Pty) Ltd, a leading company specializing in the construction and maintenance of bitumen-paved roads, is seeking a qualified Road Asset Manager/Quality Assurance Manager. Based at our Kanye/Mmakgodi OPRC Project, this role is crucial in ensuring adherence to quality standards and optimizing asset management.
Main Duty
To oversee and manage conformance/quality assurance for the road project, while developing and implementing quality control systems to maintain project excellence.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with project specifications.
-Conduct regular inspections and assessments of road assets to ensure they meet quality standards.
-Oversee the development and maintenance of quality control documentation.
-Coordinate with project teams to address non-conformance issues and implement corrective measures.
-Provide technical support and guidance to ensure adherence to best practices in road construction and maintenance.
-Prepare and present detailed quality assurance reports to stakeholders.
-Ensure that all quality control processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelorโs degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in road construction, quality assurance, or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of bitumen paving and road construction standards.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
