Minimum requirements:

-Grade 10 or NCV Level 2

-โ‰ฅ 1 year experience in a cleaning/grounds environment

-Ability to work with students, lecturers, and the public

Key performance areas:

-Grounds upkeep (grass cutting, gardening, gutters)

-Building care (painting, varnishing, cleaning of walls/toilets)

-Minor repairs (doors, windows, furniture, toilets, taps)

-General duties (moving/handling assets, hall setup, refuse removal)

-Basic equipment care (bush cutters, lawn mowers, oil checks)

-Vehicle washing; opening/closing venues; reporting vandalism

Skills & competencies:
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; able to work under pressure with minimal supervision; willingness to work after hours; cooperative team player; willing to work across campuses; follows instructions.

Minimum requirements:

-Standard 8/Grade 10 or NCV Level 2 / ABET 4

-Knowledge of facilities policies, relevant legislation, hygiene and storage requirements

Key performance areas:

-Oversee cleaning of offices, corridors, kitchens, restrooms, lifts, boardrooms

-Maintain/replace cleaning materials and equipment; requisitions & issuing

-Supervise cleaners; admin & related functions; guidance & advice

-Develop and update cleaning rosters

-Process T&S claims and invoices; minute basic meetings; draft routine correspondence & reports

-Filing, leave registers, telephone accounts; document receipt/distribution; stationery & refreshment procurement

-Compile packs/prep documents for meetings; stay current with applicable prescripts/policies
