Overview

Sasol is recruiting a Driver for its Secunda Operations division.

This role is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, securing, and offloading of refurbishment and non-refurbishment materials between warehouses, workshops, suppliers, and operational sites.

The successful candidate will ensure that deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with traffic regulations and workplace safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric OR N3 Certificate with English
Valid:
- Code C / C1 / EC1 Driver’s Licence
Valid PrDP:
- P, G, or D (where applicable)
Minimum 1 year relevant driving experience

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Deliveries

-Load and offload materials safely and accurately

-Deliver materials to warehouses, workshops, suppliers, and operational sites

-Follow designated delivery routes and schedules

-Ensure proper use of gate passes and delivery documentation

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

-Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle inspections

-Ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant

-Maintain vehicle cleanliness and housekeeping standards

-Follow all traffic rules and company safety procedures

Administration & Compliance

-Maintain vehicle logbooks and key control records

-Participate in on-the-job and SAP training

-Comply with permit management and plant safety requirements

-Ensure safe custody of transported materials and company assets
