Overview:

A leading organization is seeking a skilled and dependable Code 14 Driver to support transportation operations in and around Pretoria, including mines and supplier locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transport of materials, equipment, and personnel, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Transport staff, products, and materials safely and efficiently to designated sites.

-Maintain cleanliness and working condition of assigned vehicles.

-Conduct daily vehicle inspections (oil, water, tyre pressure, lights).

-Load and unload goods as required.

-Keep accurate travel logs and complete delivery paperwork.

-Follow safety protocols and mine regulations (e.g. speed limits).

-Identify mechanical issues and report to supervisor or technician.

-Perform ad hoc duties such as errands, lunch deliveries, and purchases when required.

-Ensure vehicle security and maintain a professional image at all times.

Requirements:

–Grade 12 / Matric certificate

–Valid Code 14 Driverโ€™s License with PDP

-Minimum 5 years’ experience as a professional driver with a clean driving record

-Good knowledge of local mines and supplier areas

-Understanding of transportation laws and safety regulations

-Strong judgement, time management, and communication skills

-Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics

-Must be medically fit for duty
