Overview:

Vassco Distributors, a reputable wholesale distribution company, is looking for an experienced Code 10 Truck Driver for a 3-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate must reside near Silverton and have hands-on experience operating UD Code 10 trucks for delivery purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

-Safely transport goods to customer destinations.

-Assist with picking, loading, and offloading of stock.

-Maintain vehicle in excellent condition and report any faults.

-Accept and process customer payments upon delivery.

-Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.

Requirements:

–Matric (Grade 12)

-Minimum 3 yearsโ€™ experience in a similar driving role

–Valid Code 10 Driverโ€™s License

–Valid PrDP (Goods and Passengers)

-Must live in or near Silverton

-Familiarity with the food and beverage wholesale industry is an advantage

-Completion of a Defensive Driving Course will be beneficial

-Physically fit to carry heavy objects and perform manual tasks
