The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a public-private initiative led by the Presidency to address youth unemployment in South Africa.

Minimum Requirements

• South African Citizen
• Aged between 18 – 34 years
• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
• English and at least one other South African official language

Selection Criteria

Applicants must:

• Not have been permanently employed with one employer for more than 12 consecutive months
• Not be studying full-time during the year of employment
• Not have previously participated in the YES initiative
• Successfully complete Eskom’s recruitment process

Successful candidates will be placed within Eskom Operations in the Limpopo region.
