Overview
Eskom is offering an exciting opportunity for ten (10) Learners in Plant Maintenance under Turbo Gen Services. Successful applicants will sign a two-year learning programme contract and receive a monthly stipend in line with Eskomโs policies and procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for qualified S4 Engineering candidates seeking practical plant maintenance experience in the power generation environment.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- S4 in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics (C&I)
- Electrical (Power Plant) option will be an added advantage
Experience
- No prior work experience required
Knowledge Requirements
-Ability to use Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation measuring equipment
-Ability to read and interpret component drawings and tolerances
-Ability to maintain high-quality work standards
-Basic knowledge of quality systems
-Ability to read, understand and work independently with technical drawings, specifications and unit conversions in line with international standards
