Job Title: Assistant Driver (Temporary)
Location: Polokwane, Limpopo

Overview:

We are seeking responsible and experienced Assistant Drivers to support the delivery operations at G.FOX COMPANY / Bidvest in Polokwane, Limpopo. The role involves assisting with the transportation of goods from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities:

-Assist with loading orders into the vehicle each day.

-Verify loaded stock against corresponding invoices.

-Take accountability for the safe handling of goods during loading and unloading.

-Perform daily vehicle checks and complete the checklist when the primary driver is unavailable.

-Ensure compliance with road regulations at all times.

-Collect cash on delivery (COD) payments when the primary driver is unavailable.

  • Communicate professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collect returned stock from customers when required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle to uphold company standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in driving or delivery roles.
  • License: Valid Code 10 Driverโ€™s License with a valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
