Overview
RCL Milling is seeking a dedicated and physically fit General Worker โ Assistant Driver to support transport and warehouse operations in Pretoria-West.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate loading and offloading of products, maintaining delivery standards, and supporting drivers with efficient route and delivery processes. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or transport and logistics environments who thrive in fast-paced operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4
- Proven experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics
- Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Clean criminal record
- Medically fit
- Physically able to walk, bend, push, pull and lift heavy objects repeatedly
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and teamwork ability
- Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to carry out reasonable instructions from Supervisor
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload company products safely and efficiently
- Assist drivers in locating delivery addresses when required
- Report delivery-related issues to management
- Compile accurate delivery records and documentation
- Obtain client/customer signatures as proof of delivery
- Clean trucks and maintain vehicle hygiene standards
- Assist with unloading delivery vehicles at the end of each shift
- Perform general housekeeping and operational support tasks
Working Environment
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic transport and logistics operation.
