Overview
Kruger National Park is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of General Worker at the Skukuza Rest Camp in the Marula Region. The successful candidate will be required to reside inside the park and assist with maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall guest experience in the Rest Camp.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform cleaning duties for chalets, ablution facilities, and surrounding areas to prescribed standards.
-Control and monitor inventory items, reporting shortages or damage.
-Report any equipment or maintenance faults and abnormalities.
-Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are properly maintained and kept in good working condition.
-Assist with the collection and distribution of supplies when required.
-Support general work tasks in the Rest Camp, including laundry duties.
-Perform any other ad hoc tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.
Minimum Requirements
–Grade 12 certificate.
-Basic hygiene and housekeeping skills.
-Knowledge of workplace health and safety.
-Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
-Knowledge of tools, their handling, and aftercare.
–Added Advantage: Supervisory skills.
