Overview:
Trollope Botswana International is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Engineer Trainee to undergo comprehensive training in various aspects of earthmoving equipment operations. This includes planning, preventative maintenance, repair procedures, safety standards, cost control, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
-Participate in training programs focused on Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) practices.
-Commit to learning a wide spectrum of earthmoving equipment functions.
-Follow structured on-the-job training schedules and attend required meetings and sessions.
-Maintain strong professional relationships with team members and other staff.
-Demonstrate high levels of efficiency, attention to detail, and initiative for continuous improvement.
-Follow instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-Proficiency in mechanical and electrical schematics.
-Basic understanding of earthmoving equipment operation.
-Previous experience is not required but will be an advantage.
-Knowledge of MQWM Act Chapter 44:02.
-Strong attention to detail and time management.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to learn under pressure and take constructive criticism.
-Medically fit and sober habits.
-Valid Class B Driverโs License.
