Overview
As a Seasonal Betting Clerk, you will power the action behind the scenes by striking bets, managing cash and payouts, and delivering exceptional customer service during the event. This role requires accuracy, strong numerical ability and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Take bets accurately and stay updated on odds, rules and payouts
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist with customer queries
- Manage cash floats, payouts and daily balancing
- Follow confirmation limits and company procedures
- Maintain a neat and professional work area
- Report equipment or system issues promptly
- Comply with company policies, ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong numerical ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service orientated
- Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Available to work weekends and flexible shifts
- Prior cash handling experience will be an advantage
