Overview
Intercare Fourways Medical and Dental Centre, located in Fourways, Johannesburg, is looking to hire a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist. Responsibilities
As a Dental Receptionist, your key responsibilities will include:
-Providing professional and friendly telephone service for patient care.
-Assisting patients in completing necessary forms and documenting information according to company policies.
-Managing the entire reception-patient journey, including booking appointments, patient arrivals, and payment processing.
-Directing patients to the appropriate location and services while ensuring patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with POPIA regulations.
-Keeping the reception area neat and organized.
-Referring emergency cases to the nurseโs station as per protocol.
-Handling basic account queries and escalating issues when necessary.
-Collecting co-payments and outstanding balances according to Intercare policies.
-Performing daily cash-up and banking processes.
Requirements
-Minimum qualification: Grade 12.
-Previous experience in a customer-focused service environment, such as reception, is advantageous.
-Proficiency in computer systems; experience with GoodX software is a plus.
