Khoemacau Copper Mine, in partnership with JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd., is seeking physically fit and reliable Underground General Workers to support its underground mining operations in Botswana. JCHX is an internationally renowned mining contractor with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and long-term development. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class copper mining project and be part of a professional and safety-driven team.
Position Purpose:
The Underground General Worker plays a key role in supporting underground mining operations through various manual labor tasks. The role is ideal for individuals who are team-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to build a career in mining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general labor duties underground as directed by supervisors
- Assist with underground material handling, cleaning of equipment and workspaces
- Support basic maintenance and logistical operations in the mine
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines strictly
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free underground work area
Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of working in challenging underground conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior mining experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Commitment to workplace safety and learning new skills
